OEA International Joins Synopsys in-Sync Program
Morgan Hill, California – March 19, 2004. OEA International, Inc. (OEA) recently joined the Synopsys in-Sync® program to improve the interoperability between HSPICE®, the industry's most trusted and comprehensive circuit simulator engine, and OEA's 3D interconnect parasitic extraction tool, NET-AN[TM]. HSPICE will be used to verify SPICE sub-circuit models produced by OEA software and thus assure correct operations of the flows that maximize the productivity of the mutual customers.
“Synopsys' in-Sync program enables OEA to fully integrate and support the design flows of our mutual customers,” said Jerry Tallinger, vice president of Marketing and Sales at OEA International, Inc. “The HSPICE circuit simulator is necessary to simulate accurate delays and skews from the NET-AN-generated SPICE representations of critical interconnects and clock nets.”
"I welcome OEA International into the Synopsys in-Sync Program," said Karen Bartleson, director of interoperability at Synopsys. "As a strong proponent of interoperability, Synopsys is committed to enabling interfaces that will benefit EDA users."
